XXIII Annual Spring Dance Competition

Holi, a festival of colors is celebrated in India to mark the beginning of new season, spring and the prosperity and abundance in life that comes with the harvest season. Holi is also associated with Hindu mythology and legends of victory of good over evil. It is celebrated at the end of lunar month Phalgun (February/ March), (Phalgun - Purnima) which usually falls in the later part of the February or March.

IFI organizes an Annual Dance Competition to celebrate the festivity, livelihood and exuberance of the season and the festival of young hearts. Colorful and Vibrant dance performances depict folk and festival traditions and rich culture from different regions of India.
